A former Title X family planning instructor who was trained by Planned Parenthood and then taught at sex ed conferences for teens told The Star News Network parents who are outraged to hear about sexualized curricula in schools should plan an organized grassroots effort that involves sound research and documentation.
In an extensive interview with The Star News Network, Monica Cline stressed parents with concerns about sexualized books available to their children in school should join with other like-minded parents and approach the situation with logic and sufficient research to make sound arguments to school boards.
Cline, who experienced a bold change of heart after being trained by abortion giant Planned Parenthood, now encourages parents to “Reclaim Parenthood” as she exposes the harms that come to children through Comprehensive Sex Education.
Working as a consultant to some parent groups, Cline counsels parents to be goal-directed:
The first thing I tell parents is ‘never do it alone.’ You have to get some like-minded parents with you because this is a battle in the world. And, if they’re a Christian, I also tell them it’s a spiritual battle, and you will be attacked. And then from there, it’s do the research; start doing FOIAs [Freedom of Information Act requests] on this goal; find out what’s there; start researching and get the proof; and then get community support.
So, in some ways, you’re a little quiet for a bit, until you can establish yourself and get that community support. You develop your email list and then expose it, expose it, and be professional at the board meetings. Approach the school, document everything. We’ve been doing well. A lot of parents need one or two people who can be there for them as a support in general.
Cline appears in the new investigative documentary The Mind Polluters (trailer below), produced by Mark and Amber Archer, the founders of Fearless Features, Inc., which describes itself as “a Christ-centered Filmmaking Ministry creating movies about issues impacting our society and culture from a biblical perspective with a mission to educate, motivate, and inspire.”
The film focuses on comprehensive sex ed and social-emotional learning, which has been forced on children of all ages through the federal education department during both Republican and Democrat administrations.
“The Mind Polluters exposes the dark realities of the intentional grooming of children into a worldview at odds with the Christian faith, a worldview of rampant sexuality, homosexuality, and transgenderism normalized through the use of pornographic and pedophilic materials,” the filmmakers note in the documentary’s description.
Cline explained parent groups she is currently working with are looking into publishers of pornographic books such as Gender Queer, which Libs of TikTok and Moms for Liberty recently reported as having been promoted by the New York State Education Department (WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES):

The National Education Association, the nation’s largest teachers’ union, promotes Read Across America, but has joined with activist groups to champion LGBTQ advocacy books in recent years:

Cline explained further:
We are looking into the publishers. What we’re finding is that a lot of these schools are just receiving bulk orders of books. It’s not even so much that the people at the school have ordered a particular book, it’s the publishers that are pushing it. And, of course, you have people in the school who are accepting it. Some of them may not even know that they’re there. And then some people do. So, it’s being pushed out, obviously, from the top down. So, it gets very complicated.
Cline said some of the books may get into schools through anti-bullying program curricula sponsored by LGBTQ activist groups.
“I think the books are coming from several places, whether it’s a bulk order from a publisher, or a new program that the school is adopting, that comes with a bulk order of books,” she explained. “And currently, what we’re finding is that the schools don’t have a way of going through those books. They just put them on the shelf.”
Cline said she has learned that even school electronic libraries such as EBSCO and GALE “are riddled with extreme pornography, in addition to Marxist ideology.”
“When it gets exposed, parents will notice that a lot of the things get hidden,” she continued. “And, so, online publishers – it’s very similar to the publishers who are providing the printed book – they know that these things are in there. And they are doing it purposely.”
Cline said, beginning in the 1960s, LGBT activists began to infiltrate the National Library Association.
“It’s also very similar to what we’re seeing with the American Psychological Association – special interest groups started to penetrate these groups and begin to change the culture of those groups,” she said. “And so, this is what we’re seeing today.”
Cline emphasized the importance of parents doing the research and documenting their findings in a logical manner.
“So, build a community of parents, gather your proof, educate yourself on your rights, the laws, so that you can have a united front and absolutely expose it,” she advised. “All of the boards want to keep it private and quiet. And that gives them power.”
